Who this is for

This site is written for radiologists, trainees, and other clinicians. It teaches how to interpret emergency imaging in general. It does not, and cannot, address the care of any specific patient.

Not medical advice

Reading this site, subscribing to the newsletter, or emailing me does not create a physician-patient relationship. Nothing here is a substitute for the judgment of a clinician who has the whole picture: the patient, the history, the labs, and the complete imaging study. Diagnostic and treatment decisions belong to the treating team. If you are a patient looking for answers about your own imaging, talk to your physicians. They know your case. I do not.

About the cases

Imaging cases on this site are de-identified teaching material, prepared and reviewed before publication. Images may be cropped, windowed, or annotated to make a teaching point. The discussion around a case is teaching, not a diagnostic report, and it deliberately emphasizes some findings over others.

Accuracy

I work to make everything here correct at the time it is published. Medicine moves, and evidence, guidelines, and practice change. Older articles may not reflect current standards, and despite care, errors are possible. If you find one, I want to know: email me.
